You May Recognize Yourself Here
If you’re experiencing:
-
feeling tense, restless, or on edge in your body
-
difficulty settling, relaxing, or feeling present
-
stress or overwhelm that shows up physically
-
moments of shutdown, numbness, or disconnection
-
a sense that your body is carrying more than your mind can explain
-
a desire for grounding without needing to talk everything through
You don’t need to know how to describe what you’re feeling, and you don’t need to be “in crisis” to seek support. Somatic Support Sessions are available wherever awareness and steadiness feel helpful.
A Supportive Space for Body Awareness and Steadiness
Â
Somatic Support Sessions offer space to feel supported with steadiness and care while noticing what’s present in the body and nervous system — without pressure to analyze, release, or change anything. These sessions are designed to support awareness, grounding, and steadiness during times when stress, overwhelm, or disconnection may be showing up physically.
A Note on Scope:
Somatic Support Sessions are not therapy or clinical treatment. These sessions do not diagnose, treat, or provide medical or mental health care.
They are offered as supportive, body-based sessions and may be used alongside therapy or other professional supports if that feels appropriate for you.
What a Somatic Support Session May Include
Somatic Support Sessions are conversation-based and awareness-focused, and can be offered remotely by video. There is no physical touch involved at any point.
Sessions may include:
-
guided attention to breath, posture, or physical sensations
-
noticing patterns of tension, ease, or movement
-
simple grounding practices that can be done seated or standing
-
reflective conversation about how stress or overwhelm shows up in the body
-
practical tools to support steadiness in everyday life
You remain fully clothed and in control of your participation at all times. You’re always invited to pause, adjust, or stop any practice.
How Somatic Support May Help
These sessions are collaborative, non-directive, and paced with care. Together, we create space to notice how your body responds to stress, rest, and everyday experiences — supporting steadiness without forcing change.
Somatic Support Sessions may help by:
-
increasing awareness of bodily cues and patterns
-
supporting grounding when emotions or sensations feel overwhelming
-
helping you respond to stress with more choice and care
-
offering simple practices that can be integrated into daily life
- noticing how your nervous system responses may show up in relationships
-
fostering a greater sense of presence and ease over time
There is no expectation to release emotions, revisit memories, or achieve a particular outcome. The focus is on awareness, safety, and respect for your pace.
